After several hours of searching, RENEA divers found the lifeless body of a 16-year-old boy who drowned in the area that connects the Patoku Valley water canal to the sea.

Two teenagers were bathing when they suddenly got caught in a current and one of them drowned. The other teenager was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Family members and residents of the area were present during the body search operation.

The serious incident occurred today at 3:00 PM, in the Patoku lagoon, where according to police, the two teenagers were bathing when one of them was pulled out of the water and transported to the hospital for medical attention, while the other 16-year-old was found dead.
