Journalist Osman Stafa has filed a criminal complaint with SPAK, denouncing the lack of brachytherapy treatment for women battling gynecological cancer in Albania.

The Staff Report was made against the leaders of the QSUT and the heads of the Oncology Hospital ward, the leaders of the Ministry of Health and any person who appears to have had a legal and functional duty for the maintenance of the brachytherapy equipment at the QSUT.

"This is not just a device, but a life opportunity. When the state forgets to maintain a life-saving device, this is not just negligence, it is a crime," Stafa wrote in a post on Facebook, where he also made public the criminal report submitted to SPAK.

He announces that the report is only the first step in a battle to bring justice and take responsibility for this grave situation. "The truth will no longer be hidden. Silence is no longer an option," he declared.
