Close race between PS and PD in diaspora votes, here are the first results

1,660 envelopes have been counted out of a total of 194,889 received from the diaspora in the context of the 2025 parliamentary elections.

Preliminary results show a close race between the two main political forces, with the Democratic Party – Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP-ASHM) coalition leading by a slight margin over the Socialist Party of Albania (SP).

Results so far:

DP – Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP-ASHM): 726 votes (43.9%)

Socialist Party of Albania (SP): 705 votes (42.7%)

Coalition Initiative Albania Becomes (NISMA-SHB): 117 votes (7.1%)

Opportunity Party: 35 votes (2.1%)

Social Democratic Party (PSD): 34 votes (2.1%)

Joint Movement: 21 votes (1.3%)

Albanian National Alliance Party (AKSH): 10 votes (0.6%)

Euro-Atlantic Coalition Party (KEA): 4 votes (0.2%)

Right Coalition for Development (DZH): 0 votes

Homeland Movement (LA): 0 votes

Alliance for New Democracy (ADR): 0 votes
