The person you see in the following photos is 24-year-old Jetmir G, an Albanian from Montenegro, who is suspected of being the author of the murder of the Serbian student Ivana K.
The crime was recorded on December 23 last year in a rented apartment in Zvezdara and the 24-year-old is still wanted by the police even though an international arrest warrant has been issued against him.
"The police went to the field, but the suspect was not at the address. The search continues and Jetmir G. is already on the red list of Interpol" - says a source for the Serbian media "Kurir".
According to experts, there are two escape routes that Jetmiri could have used. He is suspected of having committed this crime for low motives, jealousy, therefore he will most likely be sentenced to life imprisonment. It is suspected that he may be hiding in Kosovo or Albania.
The High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has revealed the details of the murder. Jetmiri stayed in Ivana's apartment 12 days before he took her life and on December 23 he suffocated her by covering her mouth and nose with his hand. It is assumed that they were in a romantic relationship, but many people close to her do not know anything about their relationship.
"I don't believe they were in a relationship. Ivana probably welcomed her as a friend because this is the relationship that prevails among mountaineers" – Ivana's friend recently told Kurir.
Her body was found by her family members a day later and the main evidence on which the prosecution will base the indictment is Jetmir's DNA under the victim's fingernails.
