The investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation, supported by the special department RENEA, have raided in the early hours of this morning, the residence of the deputy of the Socialist Party Rrahman Rraja. The surprising action took place before dawn, in the village of Zeze in the area of ​​Nikla.

It was a decision of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, issued in complete secrecy, on January 17, 2023, without the presence of the parties and the court secretary, which approved the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

Journalist Artan Hoxha reports in his blog "Jungël" that "The objective of this action was to find and arrest the citizen Ramazan Rraja, 30 years old, resident of Nikël administrative unit in the area of ​​Fushë Kruja. His apartment in the village of Zeze was also searched, along with the vehicle he is using. The purpose of the inspection of the apartment and the vehicle was to find or discover important evidence for the investigation being carried out by SPAK".

BKH investigators, supported by the penetration groups of the RENEA special department, surrounded the 3-story villa in the village of Nikël in the early hours of Thursday. Then, in accordance with the decision of the Special Court, they entered the premises, exercising detailed control over every person who was there.

BKH agents have thoroughly searched every area of ​​the villa to find materials or evidence related to the investigation.

In the decision of the special court, the 3-story villa together with the space around it, surrounded by a high protective wall and equipped with a security system with cameras, has been defined as an object owned and used by the citizen Ramazan Rraja.

The BKH investigators were surprised when instead of the person they were looking for, they found his uncle, Rrahman Rraja, deputy of the Socialist Party, and his family in the apartment.

Ramazan Rraja, for the last time, was declared wanted by the police after the assassination that happened on July 17, 2022, at the Fushë Kruja overpass, where Brilant Martinaj, Besmir Hoxha and Diklen Vata were killed. According to journalist Hoxha, at that time, Ramazan Rraha was abroad.

He was escorted by the police of Fushë Kruja at noon on October 31, 2022, when he had just returned to Rinas with the Fly Dubai line from the United Arab Emirates.

Rraja gave statements regarding the investigation of the massacre of July 17, at the crossing of Fushë Kruja, and after proving that he was outside the territory of Albania on the day of the event, he was released a few hours later.
