A serious incident happened yesterday afternoon where a 34-year-old woman in Elbasan lost her life in the maternity hospital, a few hours after having an abortion. After that, the police prosecuted two maternity doctors.

The media have secured the testimony of the resuscitation doctor, Behar Gjevori, who was criminally prosecuted by the police after the serious incident.

He says that the young woman had an abortion several times before, which increases the risk of intervention. Doctor Gjevori says that the 34-year-old woman was in good health when she left the hospital.

After anesthesia, the doctor says that the 34-year-old woman also underwent an ultrasound scan, where it turned out that she was in good health. Gjevori says that after that, the doctor left.
