Zamira Durda, a mother who lost her 7-year-old son in the Gërdec tragedy, says that her son was killed by the state. She said this evening that SPAK prosecutors have contacted her and she is already waiting for justice for the boy.
"I don't know what to say about Shkëlzen Berisha. My son was killed by the Albanian state. The institutions of the Albanian state, they are the facts that come out and that connect this person with the case of Gërdec. The medium should be tried, as the case was not tried because he had immunity. The Albanian state killed my son. The Ministry of Defense, which was supposed to protect him.
Why? Why? Why? I hope that SPAK will give answers to my 'whys' of 15 years. I hope for justice. I will wait for their decisions and for them to give me exhaustive answers to my WHYs. I was contacted by SPAK prosecutors, I received notifications.
It's more or less the same procedure... Don't touch us where it hurts so much. Today my child would have turned 22 years old. The new test is non-judgment, leave due to immunity. The culprits should be punished and the compensation payments should be made by the culprits", said Zamira Durda in REPOLITIX.
