Another shocking event happened yesterday evening in Italy, where a 27-year-old woman was stabbed to death by an Albanian.
Italian media reports that 27-year-old Italian Vanesa Ballan was attacked with a knife while entering her apartment in the province of Treviso.
Seven stab wounds were found on the victim's body in different parts of the body.
The deceased was in the third month of pregnancy, expecting her second child, while she had her first child at the age of 4.
She was married since 2013 to Nicola Scapinello, also originally from Castelfranco Veneto.
The couple had moved to Riese a few years ago, where Vanessa worked as a sales assistant in a supermarket.
At the time of the brutal attack, Vanessa's husband was at work and her 4-year-old son was in kindergarten.
According to the Italian police who have built the dynamics of the crime, Vanessa opened the door of her apartment because she knew the suspect.
On the threshold of the door, the 40-year-old raped and stabbed her more than 7 times in different parts of the body. After the crime, he fled on foot and then used a truck to disappear.
The police have launched a search to find and capture the 41-year-old Albanian from Kosovo, Bujar Fandaj, a truck driver, who lives in the nearby town of Altivole.
The victim had previously reported the suspect to the police for stalking, the sources said.
Bujar Fandaj, according to the Italian media, continued to pursue her and in October threatened and blackmailed her that he would publish on the Internet intimate photos of them from the time when they had a love affair.
For this reason, the 27-year-old woman reported her to the police. The carabinieri had carried out a check in the 40-year-old's apartment, seizing his computer and mobile phone.
While the investigations revealed that the deceased had an intimate relationship with the suspect.
