In the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime on 09.02.2023, the next court session was held for the criminal case in charge of the defendants Artur Balla and Bledar Lilo . In this court session, the Special Prosecutor's Office requested the following in the final discussion:

The guilty plea of ​​the defendant Artur Balla for the criminal offenses he has been charged with and his sentence of 13 years in prison. Due to the development of the abbreviated trial procedure, 1/3 of the sentence is reduced, therefore the defendant Artur Balla's sentence with 8 years and 8 months of imprisonment has been finally requested.

The guilty plea of ​​the defendant Bledar Lilo for the criminal offenses he has been charged with and his sentence of 12 years in prison. Due to the development of the abbreviated trial procedure, 1/3 of the sentence is reduced, therefore the defendant Bledar Lilo's sentence with 8 years of imprisonment has been finally requested.

The confiscation and transfer in favor of the state of the monetary amount of 18,399,941.50 (eighteen million, three hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and forty-one, point fifty) Euros, held in the bank account in the name of Francesco Zummo, in the Bank, has also been requested Alpha, Tirana, seized during the preliminary investigation phase by the Special Prosecutor's Office.

The criminal case against the defendant Rezart Taçi was separated during the preliminary hearing stage and will be judged as a separate criminal case, because this defendant is in absentia and the necessary procedures provided for in the Code of Criminal Procedure for defendants who are tried in absentia.
