A shocking event starring an Albanian family and two victims was recorded last midnight in the city of Foggia in Italy.
The media across the Adriatic report that 45-year-old Taulant Malaj killed his 16-year-old daughter with a knife, injured his ex-wife, and also killed a 51-year-old Italian citizen, Massimo De Santis .
45-year-old Albanian, baker, was arrested by the carabinieri after the serious crime.
The crime happened around two o'clock in the morning and it is learned that Massimo De Santis was stabbed by Taulant Malaj on the stairs of the building where he was staying. Afterwards, the Albanian entered the house with the intention of killing his wife, but his 16-year-old daughter intervened to protect her mother and was killed.
The wife of the suspected killer, who is now in the Foggia hospital, was also injured in the collision. The woman managed to escape and alert the police.
When police arrived at the scene, they arrested the 45-year-old man, who investigators say was wandering the area looking for the other five-year-old boy with the same woman.
The murder weapon, a kitchen knife, was found. The five-year-old was temporarily entrusted to his uncles.
The cause of the crime is suspected to have been jealousy, as Taulant Malaj suspected that his wife was cheating on him with the Italian Massimo De Santis.
