NAME/ Took 50 thousand lek to..., judicial police officer wanted by SPAK!

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has announced the search for judicial police officer Fatbardh Lala on the charge that he took 50,000 lek bribes to interfere with the prosecutor and the judge in order not to punish Ermir Llagaçi.

Lala was sentenced to prison, but it was not executed because the officer has left the country. Meanwhile, Ermir Llagaçi and his mother Tefta Llagaçi are under investigation for committing the criminal offense of " Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions ".

Despite the fact that Ermir Llagaçi was convicted, the criminal offense of corruption and the exercise of illegal influence is considered consummated by the two persons under investigation.
