Bujar Sefa (Xaka) , arrested in Dubai, is a well-known name in Albanian justice, but not only.

30-year-old Xaka is part of the Rrajave gang.

The young man was declared an international wanted person by order of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), on charges of drug trafficking to European Union countries.

Meanwhile, the Police say that  Bujar Sefa (Xaka)  is accused of being the leader of a criminal group, which in 2020 cultivated narcotic plants in the villages of the Cudhi administrative unit, Krujë.

Bujar Sefa is also a well-known name to Italian justice authorities. He was sentenced in Italy to 12 years and 9 months in prison, and assets worth around 346 thousand euros were confiscated.

From the SPAK investigative file it appears that Sefa, known by the nickname "Xaka", had a leading role in the criminal group that dealt with the cultivation of cannabis.

Wiretaps conducted during the investigation show that he was in charge of organizing the work and managing the workers engaged in the plots planted with cannabis.

The investigation file revealed conversations in which traffickers begged the police not to seize the narcotic plants until they harvested them.

They even talk about problems they might have with each other, if things don't go according to plan.

Accused of being the leader of a criminal group that cultivated narcotic plants in Krujë, the 39-year-old was captured in the United Arab Emirates and arrested with the aim of extradition to Albania.

As a result of the cooperation of the State Police structures with their counterparts, within the framework of the operation codenamed "The Wanted", it became possible to capture in the United Arab Emirates and arrest with the aim of extradition to Albania, the citizen:

-BS alias BX, 39 years old.

This citizen was declared wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 23.05.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Production and sale of narcotics", "Structured criminal group", "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Citizen BS alias BX is accused of being the leader of a criminal group, which in 2020 cultivated narcotic plants in the villages of the Cudhi administrative unit, Krujë.

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Abu Dhabi are cooperating to carry out the extradition procedures of this citizen to Albania.
