Civitanova Marche

" Come on, daddy is beating us ", was the call of a 13-year-old Albanian boy, who called the police in Civitanova Marche (Macerata) asking for help.

When the police arrived at the address given by the minor, they found the boy in the street, shocked and in tears.

He had shown him the house where his father continued to abuse his mother, a 42-year-old Albanian.

The operatives gave first aid to the injured woman and two other minor children, one of whom had wounds from the violence.

The 47-year-old father was in the bedroom when the Italian police entered the apartment and handcuffed him.

His wife and three children were taken to the emergency room and then to the Civitanova Marche police station, where, from November 2023, a room dedicated to victims of violence has been opened.
