The Supreme Court has ruled in line with the Special Anti-Corruption Appeal for Olta Xhaçka.

The trio of judges ruled against Fredi Beleri's appeal for the investigation of the former Foreign Minister and her husband Artan Gaçi, regarding the privatization of land in Himara where a tourist resort was to be built, and on which they received the status of strategic investor.

SPAK twice decided not to initiate criminal proceedings, and now, with rapporteur Sokol Binaj and members Ilir Panda and Sander Simonina in Monday's court session, the Supreme Court has also decided the same.

Beleri reported Xhaçka and her husband, former socialist MP Artan Gaçi, for several criminal offenses. While refusing to investigate the socialist couple, SPAK charged former Himara mayor Jorgo Goro with abuse of office, in connection with the alienation of two plots of land on which Artan Gaçi received the status of strategic investor.
