A 36-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in Tirana after being accused of fraud.

According to the police, 36-year-old Glarurtin Kaçi deceived a person by presenting himself as a staff member of an investigative show.

Kaçi received 8 thousand euros from the person in question to not publish a video he fabricated.

Police announcement:

The Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Specialists: in cooperation with Police Station No. 1, arrested and detained citizen GK, 36 years old, after citizen LB reported that this citizen, by introducing himself as a staff member of an investigative show, had taken the sum of 8,000 euros from him, in order not to publish a video he had fabricated.

Work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
