A tragic event happened during the evening two days ago in Peja. Mother and son, Mirsada Ademaj and Dion Ademaj, lost their lives after their apartment was flooded by heavy rains.

At first, the little boy was sent to the hospital with no signs of life, while his mother was missing, while Mirsada's death was also announced.

Mother and son were in their house in the neighborhood "Asllan Çeshme" in Pejë, at the moment when the torrential rain flooded the place and destroyed their apartment.

Bad weather in Kosovo has caused massive flooding in some areas, where the situation worsened during the night, as a result of heavy rain. One of the most affected areas is Peja, where two victims, mother and son, Mirsada Ademaj and Dion Ademaj, have been recorded.

The serious incident took place in the neighborhood of 'Asllan Çeshme'. The 30-year-old mother, along with her only 5-year-old child, were staying at home at the critical moments. The case was reported by the neighbors and the woman who was reported missing was later found near a neighbor's house. Doctors have confirmed the death of mother and son.
