A 50-year-old Albanian woman was cut by a meat-cutting machine while trying to clean it.

The tragic event took place on Friday night in Mesolongjia, Greece. The victim was reportedly cleaning the meat machinery, but she grabbed her hair causing serious bruising.

According to greek media, the incident occurred in front of her daughter, who started screaming.

The mother and daughter reportedly worked cleaning shops.

The woman lived in Mesolongjia with her two children, daughter and 10-year-old son, for the last two years, where she was stripped after leaving Albania, after splitting up with her husband.

"She was a very nice woman, she worked from breakfast to dinner with her daughter cleaning the shops, to make a living," one resident of the neighborhood told Protothema.
