A serious incident has been recorded in Mirdita, where a 51-year-old man has died.

Police say he was fixing the excavator when the jack broke and he was hit by the vehicle's transmission.

The incident occurred in Spaç.

Police Announcement:

On 10.12.2024, citizen FP, 51 years old, resident of Malaj, Mirditë, was taken to the hospital, without signs of life.

From the first actions, it is suspected that this citizen had gone to Spaç, together with his cousin, citizen PP, to fix an excavator at the workshop where citizen PP is responsible.

While working, while changing the transmission of this vehicle, the jack holding the transmission broke and hit citizen FP, who consequently lost his life.

The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the case.
