A family conflict has ended in injuries in the city of Saranda.

The blue uniforms indicate that a 26-year-old man attacked his sister's ex-husband, 44, with a cutting tool.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon (July 16) at around 4:00 PM in neighborhood no. 4.

Fortunately, the 44-year-old is out of danger, while the young man has been taken into police custody.

" Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and:

arrested in flagrante delicto citizen EN, 26 years old, resident of Saranda, after on 16.07.2025, at around 16:10, in neighborhood no. 4, he had a conflict with his sister's ex-husband, citizen KB, 44 years old, resident of Delvina, whom he hit with a cutting tool, causing bodily harm. The 44-year-old has received medical assistance and is out of danger to his life , "the police announced today.
