Reni Dobra's murder, Fation Bushgjokaj and Petrit Çakrri's

Fation Bushgjokaj, one of the three brothers arrested for the murder of Renis Dobra in Mat, has given testimony before the investigative group.

He admitted that he and the 23-year-old met in Germany and worked in illegal drug trafficking activities.

However, he denies having anything to do with his murder, stressing that he had no involvement in the incident, but admits to the conflicts and quarrels he had previously had with the victim.

On the other hand, Petrit Çakrri partially admits that he was in the area where the crime occurred on the day of the incident.

According to him, he did not personally know the victim and claims that he had no connection to the incident, nor did he know what had happened.

Çakrri stated that the only one of the Bushgjokaj brothers he knew was Kristi Bushgjokaj, who is currently wanted by the police.

He explained that he met Kristin in prison and their relationship continued after he was released.

According to his testimony, Çakrri says he met with the Bushgjokaj brothers after they told him they would go out to the area to search for a quantity of drugs in the villages.

Along the way, he said, they split into two cars. He also showed the dynamics of the movement, which matches the security camera footage analyzed by the police.

However, Çakrri denies any involvement in the murder, stating that he does not know what happened to Renis Dobra.

He added that at some point, the Bushgjokaj brothers got into another car, which according to the investigation team, is thought to be the 23-year-old's vehicle.

Then they told me "go away now," Çakrri continued. Regarding what had happened to Dobra, he says he only found out about it from the media.

A day earlier, the Dibra Police solved the incident by arresting two people, Fation Bushgjoka and Petrit Çakrri.

Meanwhile, he declared Fation's two brothers, Kristi and Aleksandër Bushdjokaj, wanted.

According to the Dibra Police, the motive for the murder of the 23-year-old in Mat is suspected to have been the drug conflict in Germany.

Renis Dobra, 23, was killed on the evening of July 8, 2025 in the village of Madhesh, Mati. He was strangled with a rope by the perpetrators and then his body was put inside the car. The perpetrators tried to throw the car into Lake Ulza, but the body remained intact./shqiptarja.com
