Ilirjana, the daughter of the martyr Besim Tiku, who was killed during the war in Kosovo, has crowned her love in marriage.

On this special day for her, her uncles have taken care to make up for the absence of her father, who left her when she was only three months old, Gazeta Express reports.

They also presented their granddaughter with a check for 58,000 euros. In the photo that has gone viral on social media, they are seen handing the cash check to the bride.

Besim Tiku was killed by Serbian forces on May 3, 1999, when the Serbs launched an attack and siege offensive against the village of Shtutica.
