A 63-year-old man with the initials LT was arrested by the Lushnje police after being accused of sexually abusing a 24-year-old girl.

The case was initially reported to the police, who then referred it to the prosecutor's office. He is accused of the criminal offense of "violent sexual intercourse with adults".

"Following the notice given on 10.05.2024, for the referral of materials to the Prosecutor's Office, from the Lushnjë Police Station, for the citizen LT, 63 years old, after allegedly having violent sexual intercourse with a 24-year-old woman, we do know that: 

After the investigative actions carried out at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutor's order was executed for the detention of the citizen LT, 63 years old, resident in the village of Barbullinjë, after the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier, with the decision dated 24.05.2024, has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison". 

The additional procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense "Sexual relationship with violence with adults", the police informs.
