Tirana police have seized 2.2 kilograms of cocaine in the Institute area and arrested two people, cousins to each other.

It is reported that the two arrested had planned to divide the narcotics into small doses and sell them in the Fresku area.

During the police intervention, they attempted to escape, but were caught near the train tracks in the Institute area.

It is initially suspected that the cocaine came from Spain, while police are working to uncover other people involved in this trafficking and distribution network.
