The representatives of the banana hosting company have denied being involved in the cocaine trafficking that was discovered last night in the Port of Durrës.

They have declared before the Antidrug agents that they have nothing to do with the narcotic substance and were not aware of its presence in the crates of bananas. The company claims that criminal groups are using the line without their knowledge and that it is destroying their business.

Last night, the police accompanied 3 representatives of the company, as well as the scanner monitoring team. After the anti-drug dog discovered 33 kg of cocaine in the container that had arrived three days ago in Durrës from Ecuador. Surprisingly, the container came out clean from the scanner.
