The General Directorate of the Road Transport Service will have a new building.

A procedure opened this Wednesday on the website of the Public Procurement Agency with a limited fund of 785 million ALL or about 7 million euros has as its object exactly this goal: "Construction of the building of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services (DPSHTRR) )", multifunctional object, in public interest, for Central Road Transport Services.

According to the architectural report that accompanies the project announced on the APP website, it is understood that the new building will be located where the existing building stands today.

"The area for which this study is carried out is located about 2 km from the center of Tirana, in the current premises of the DPSHTRR offices. The area under study is of special interest as it is located in a space in mixed development from the functional side where we have the presence of residential buildings and commercial spaces. The intervention in the area does not represent development only for the offices of the institution itself, but also brings development and revitalization of the surrounding space", the document states.

According to the document, the existing facility has suffered extensive damage and degradation as a result of the earthquake and overloading.

Description of the project

In the relation that describes the architectural side of the project and that bears the logos of DPSHTRR, the SON studio and Stefano Boeri Architetti, it is explained that the plan of the object has the shape of a square with two cores, a b/a structure where the staircase, elevator and technical facilities are positioned.

"The ground floor of the proposed facility, apart from the reception, lobby and some maintenance staff spaces, serves mainly as a "Retro" exhibition space. Other facilities such as toilets and storage are positioned next to the b/a structure. In addition to the two fire escapes on the ground floor, there is also another open circular staircase that serves to go to the first floor for citizens. The surface of the ground floor is 647 m2.

Kati nëntokë -1 aksesohen nga një rampë e drejtë e jashtme në lindje të objektit. Ky kat akomodon 14 poste parkimi. Në këtë kat ka ambiente për mirëmbajtën dhe dhoma zhveshjeje, gjithashtu ndodhen dhe hapësirat teknike.

Kati nëntoke -2 aksesohen nga një rampe e brendshme. Ky kat akomodon 25 poste parkimi, një hapësirë për larjen e makinave dhe hapësirat teknike te nevojshme.

Kati i parë përfshin kryesisht ambientet për stafin si kafeteri, mensë, salla konferencash, një ambient trajnimi dhe nyjet h/s. Gjithashtu në këtë kat ndodhet arkiva e institucionit dhe zyra e protokollit. Lëvizja në këtë kat, ashtu si dhe katet e tjera organizohet me anë të një korridori rreth një atriumi qendror që del deri në tarracë. Zyrat dhe ambientet e tjera janë të shpërndara rreth atriumit. Lëvizja për në katin e dytë përveç shkallëve antizjarr dhe ashensorit, behet nëpërmjet shkalles me një rampë përgjatë atriumit. Sipërfaqja e katit pare është 885m2.
