Yesterday evening, the phones of journalists, politicians and lawyers were buzzing with a "clue" according to which the arrest warrant of Arben Ahmetaj (aka "Tigri" or "Tigli") was expected.

This is a very old show and story that synchronizes the half-assed actions of the prosecution with the endless appetite of the media to throw the next prey to the mob.

It happened more or less the same with that "old and unreformed justice" in dozens of cases, where the case of Ardian Fullan stands out, who was arrested with great fanfare, but after a few months he was acquitted and compensated.

The only exceptional case is that of Saimir Tahir, he is the only high-level official who was not arrested until the end of the final judgment.

In fact, the Albanian criminal legislation also provides that, except for extremely serious cases of flagrante delicto, it is not necessary to arrest someone if this person does not pose a risk of spoiling the evidence in the process.

Yesterday's uproar over the indication that an arrest warrant had been issued for Ahmetaj, is a continuation of a 30-year-old criminal policy of the prosecutor's office, which from time to time offers a circus and spectacle with handcuffs, and where in the vast majority of cases the arrested are acquitted court.

SPAK, although apparently a reformed and professional institution, is completely continuing the line of the circus and spectacle with handcuffs, taking on the valence of an institution that tames the instincts of the crowd rather than punishing officials who commit criminal acts.

The SPAK has hurried to do the same circus and spectacle with the other arrested people, or with those declared to be in search of the "Incinerator" file, mainly those who are known as the "Mirel Mërtiri Group", i.e. with former friends and now Ahmetaj's opponents.

This tendency of SPAK to throw "meat" to the crowd, and to calm it down for the moment, seems to be a game that speaks of the lack of professionalism and the political use that is made of this institution, once instigated by Ahmetaj against Mërtir and already instigated by the other party seeking retribution.

Perhaps it would be advisable for the accused of all parties to have the opportunity to defend themselves in court, Ahmetaj and Mërtiri, both equally before the law, and then if the court imposes final punishments, let them go to the country.

In this way, the circus and the spectacle are avoided, all parties have the opportunity to act and behave professionally, but not by lynching those who are handcuffed and crying over the plight of those who negotiate their arrest in SPAK.

Not more than a week ago, SPAK exceeded every limit and framework, behaving like a "Drama Queen" in relation to the media.

This institution indirectly accused Adriatik Doči as the man who had intimidated SPAK prosecutors. Without yet analyzing whether or not there was intimidation on the part of journalist Doçi, it is worth asking some questions:

How can prosecutors trained to investigate sharks be intimidated by our colleague Tiku?

How can this idiocy happen?

How can such idiocy be said?

How can the most powerful prosecution in the country behave like a "Drama Queen"?

In fact, although the announcement of the prosecution pointed strongly at the journalist Adriatik Doçi, between the lines this announcement panicked a subtle change in the progress of the investigations:

The two prosecutors Klodian Braho and Eneid Nakuçi were no longer in charge of the investigations of this file, since, as the announcement made known, prosecutors Dumani-Millonai had taken command.

In these conditions, other questions arise:

If Adriatik Doçi intimidated these two prosecutors when he publicly accused them of hiding the evidence confirming Ahmetaj's bookings with the Zotos credit card, why did they resign from the case?

Why didn't they unequivocally prove that Adriatik Doçi had forged and artificially produced the evidence and documents, then make an example of Doçi?

How can these two prosecutors withdraw, if they were not wrong in the investigations they did?

What is the head of SPAK Altin Dumani covering up with these statements from "Drama Queen" and why exactly now this victimizing attitude, right now that indications of a 3-year coordinated game of Ahmetaj with SPAK, with powerful segments of the opposition and media bosses?

How is it possible that two prosecutors, who have imprisoned dozens of accused for the incinerators, suddenly remain silent and resign, together with them the opposition is silent and together with the opposition, almost half of the media is silent?

What do these who are silent know that the rest of us do not know?

All the questions posed above make you realize that this incinerator crime story is a much more serious game than we've been sold so far, a game that doesn't just involve heavy economic bills or clan clashes, but is a game that probably involved in a subtle intrigue Ahmetaj together with segments of SPAK, powerful clans of the opposition and the media, a very serious and serious scheme, which this SPAK can hardly be bothered to thoroughly investigate at the professional level where it is today and in the almost arbitrary implication with the characters of the game.

But at least SPAK can do something worthwhile, SPAK can not open our stomachs by acting like a "Drama Queen", it can at least spare us this. / Hashtag.al
