New images of the accident

New images of the tragic accident with 3 dead and 3 injured, which happened on March 9 in the Eastern ring road of Tirana, have been published. Images provided by Klan News journalist Spartak Koka shed light on the full dynamics of the accident from hitting the guardrail, to the vertical impact of the vehicle on the dividing wall of the underpass.

The video in question was filmed from another corner of the street. It shows the Audi car with license plate AB 008 MJ, driven by 20-year-old Klevis Ruçaj, which comes quickly towards the TEG roundabout, first colliding with the metal barriers in the roundabout. It then flies through the air, makes physical contact with the bonnet of the Hyundai and crashes with great force, vertically, crushing the cab against the side wall of the road.

Përplasja nuk është ballore, por kabina mbështetet në mur, makina ka fluturuar për rreth 30 metra. Jemi munduar që të gjithë këndet e kamerave të ndryshme t’i pasqyrojmë të gjitha së bashku, në këtë material filmik për ta kuptuar qytetarët dinamikën e plotë të këtij aksidenti fatal.”

Duke u bazuar tek materiali i ri filmik, Gazetari Koka thotë se gjithçka ndodhi në 1,07 sekonda.

“Përplasja e parë është tek guardrail, e dyta është në mur. Sepse i vetmi kontakt tjetër, është me parakolpin e automjetit Hyundai ku udhëtonin 3 personat e tjerë nga Elbasani. E gjithë ngjarja zhvillohet, të paktën nga sa llogaritëm në këto pamje ekskluzive që kemi siguruar për Klan News, llogaritet në 1,07 sekonda. Ekspertët mund ta llogarisin shumë më mirë, sesa është edhe shpejtësia, që nga momenti i goditjes së guardrail–it deri tek momenti i përplasjes me murin.”

I riu Ruçaj, sipas zyrtarëve së Policisë së Shtetit, dyshohet të ketë qenë me shpejtësi deri në 150 km/h.

Përveç Hyundai-t, i rrezikuar nga Audi ishte edhe mjeti që kalon fare pak sekonda para se makina e Ruçajt të përplasjes me barrierat metalike.

Another question which is expected to be clarified is whether the vehicle managed to brake. 2 fixed traces, 3 meters away from the arrival at the roundabout, are being investigated if they were left on the asphalt by the Audi vehicle in which the 3 victims were traveling.

Klevis Ruçaj, 20, Erisilda Abedini, 22, and Sikela Pörroj, 23, lost their lives in the tragic accident.
