The government has decided to amend the law on the administration of seized and confiscated properties.
The document published in public consultation foresees that the Agency will also take over buildings that are without mortgage documents and label them as unauthorized constructions.
For this reason, it is envisaged that a special fund will be allowed for their administration and development.
Unlike before, the Agency's administration will not only include assets seized and confiscated by the courts at the request of the prosecution offices, whether SPAK or districts, but also properties that will be blocked by local governments.
The solution is given to cryptocurrencies, whether Bitcoin, Ethernium or others. The agency will be allowed to open an account where it will also take care of these assets.
In the Çopja case alone, 10 million euros in cryptocurrencies were seized, while SPAK has often stated that the law does not provide for regulating this issue.
