The Prosecutor's Office of Vlora has filed an arrest warrant for the candidate of the coalition "Bashke Fitomje" for the municipality of Himara, Fredi Beleri, who is accused of buying and selling votes.

Accusations of "Active corruption in elections carried out in collaboration" weigh heavily on him. 

"This citizen was caught red-handed in Himare on 12.05.2023 at 00:14 minutes, in cooperation with other people, promising and giving ," the document states.

Fredi Beleri was detained by the police last night at midnight, together with three other people: his lawyer, a member of the electoral staff and another. Along with Fred Beleri, the arrest warrant was also issued for his companion, Pano Kokoveshi.

It is known that Fredi Beler's lawyer has given up the case to testify.
