The investigations for the two brothers Indri and Gentian Beqiraj are closed. They will face the court for the charge of creating the conditions to commit the murder of Geron Hasanbelli. According to them, the murder would be carried out on account of his sworn opponent Kassander Noga, a well-known name in the world of crime and the author of the Sanatorium massacre in 2000. The two brothers would be paid for this event.
In the file of the prosecution body, it is stated that in order to commit this crime, they first cooperated with Alban Skonjë and Ilirjan Feci. The brothers followed the movements of the target, but for various reasons they were unable to carry out the crime. Then Skonja and Feci withdrew and Kevin Zeneli, who is the person who maintained contacts and connections with Kassander Noga, was engaged in this group.
During their confession to the investigators, the two brothers said that Noga had the intention of killing Arben Merkur from Sukthi, known by the nickname Maneci. According to the investigation file, Kassander Noga ordered the crimes through Kevin Zenelit.
During the observations of Geron Hasanbelli, they learned that he lived in Tirana, in the area of Don Bosco. The defendants have rented an apartment in this area in order to be aware of all his movements. But in the end they confused the target and on January 4, 2022, they mistakenly killed Erjon Çela and injured several others.
But even after the Don Bosco incident, the Beqiraj brothers continued to observe Kassander Noga's opponent. The latter is arrested in Belgium, for the attempted murder of Mikel Rakipllari alias Erion Hasanbelliu, Geron Hasanbelliu's brother. As the executioner in the massacre of Don Bosco, Kevin Zeneli is suspected.
The Beqiraj brothers then provided explosives to make Geron Hasanbelli's execution possible. They bought the explosive from Idajet Hoxha, whom they had known through Pëllumb Hoxha. According to the prosecution, the explosives were obtained in a mine in Bulqiza.
Brothers Indri and Gentian Beqiraj revealed themselves to investigators after being captured in October 2022. At that time, they were taken hostage for several hours by the men of Aleksandër Laho, known as Rrumi. They had taken it upon themselves to watch Laho's movements and then execute him.
In the documents of the prosecution, it is stated that Kasandre Noga's cell phone contains data of interest for other events that took place in Albania. For this reason, our justices have sent letters to the Belgian authorities. And for this case, the prosecution has divided another criminal proceeding, Klan News reports.
