This Saturday, the 98th citizen protest will be held in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Activist Edison Lika, while speaking at the protest, reiterated that on Tuesday, at 5:00 PM, they will gather in front of the parliament building, where the first plenary session after the summer break is expected to begin.
He stressed that they will be in front of the parliament to welcome with eggs, tomatoes and flour the deputies, who, as he added, do not represent the people. Lika said that they will no longer allow themselves to be represented by deputies like Belinda Balluku, Zegjine Çaushi or Flamur Noka, and others like them.
"Are you ready to visit the MPs or not? Are we going to wait for them with eggs, tomatoes and flour? All those who thought that this protest would change its model, we will continue the same at the prime minister's office, but on Tuesday at 5 pm we will be at the parliament because the plenary session begins. Are we going to tell them to their faces that you do not represent us? Illiterate parliament.
We will continue the protest as we do every day, but we will be at the door in every plenary session. That parliament should no longer belong to some scoundrels who do not represent the citizens, but to crime and the economic oligarchy. We will no longer accept to be represented by either Belinda or Zegjinja.
"We will no longer accept to be represented by Flamur Noka and the Flamur Nokas of parliament who have been included in the lists by party leaders, who are not even known by their own families. This September will find the people in the square and in revolt until the resignation of Edi Rama and the entire government ," he said.
