To clarify the event, AMP is taking evidence from the patrol that stopped the 32-year-old and the security cameras in the area.

Based on the testimony of police officers, Lear Kurti was walking alone on Riza Cuka Street. The police asked him to stop for verification.

He ran away and the patrol chased him, catching him on Rr. Don Bosco near a market. The moment of stopping is fixed on the security cameras.

After being handcuffed, the detainee stayed on a bench until the car that accompanied him arrived. During the waiting moments, his friends also passed by and communicated with the police about the reason for the detention.

On the way to the police station, he showed health problems (tremors and discharge of secretions).

After arriving at the police station, where there are also cameras, seeing that the situation could worsen until the arrival of the ambulance, he was transported by the police to the trauma hospital where he arrived with a weak pulse and died a few minutes later.

Lear Kurti is an only child. He lived at the former bus park.

There have been other episodes of detention in the police because he was a user of narcotics.

His friend, identified as Zyhdi Spahiu, accompanied the victim.

The latter was caught drunk in his vehicle. Spahiu was released, but was accompanied by a fine due to the dose of alcohol.

It is suspected that the victim and his friend were initially together, but then separated when the police approached.
Lear Kurti has 3 criminal records, theft and drugs. He is known as a friend of Pajtim Serjan's group.
