Under "house arrest" during the day, a robber at night: 20-year-old

A 20-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana Police after allegedly committing 8 thefts in various entities within a week, while he was under the security measure "House Arrest" for the same criminal offense.

According to the Police, suspect OH, 20 years old, during the period August 5–13, 2026, is suspected of stealing money and products from eight different entities.

During verifications conducted following reports from several citizens, the blue uniforms discovered that the 20-year-old was currently under the security measure "House Arrest", previously imposed for similar offenses.

Police are continuing their investigations to document whether the 20-year-old is also the perpetrator of other thefts committed in Tirana.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
