Gentian Bejtja was executed yesterday afternoon at the entrance of his apartment in the village of Larushk in Fushë-Kruja.

The ex-policeman had escaped assassinations three times, but yesterday when he went to the apartment where only his mother was, the enemies had apparently kept him under surveillance.

Gentjan Bejtja was watering the tomato seedlings in the mini greenhouse created in the backyard.

While in his company, there were three children and his mother, he had only been back to the village of Larushk for a week, staying sometimes at his house and sometimes at his father's apartment.

Bejtja's presence in the village had apparently caught the eye of his opponents, who mobilized very quickly and carried out the murder.

Three people masked and dressed in black uniform entered through the main gate and first shot without any warning on Gentjan Bejtjan, who was in the yard watering the tomato plants.

The perpetrators of the crime have shown themselves to be wild and merciless, after they approached through the main door of the house, getting very close to Gentjan Bejtja, and as he was wounded, they continued to shoot him again with Kalashnikov volleys.

A total of 30 bullets pierced the body of Gentjan Bejtja, who died on the spot. The victim was not able to make any movement, while at the time of the murder he was unarmed.

Even in his apartment, the police did not find firearms. The horror of this scene has permeated the children and his mother, who saw the cruel event.

For this event, Valter Bami was taken to the police, the latter was arrested for the assassination of Bejtja on July 4, 2023. When he was arrested at that time, traces of gunpowder were found in his hand.

Then, on January 18 of this year, the measure against Bami was changed to "house arrest" after the investigation period for the July 4 assassination ended and there was not enough evidence implicating him. 

A former policeman, who early on was part of the dark world and with many connections in the north of the country, on July 4, 2023, Gentjan Bejtja escaped the bullets, but his brother-in-law, his wife's brother, Ramazan Sino lost his life.

Bejtja's two children, aged 13 and 8, were injured. Since that day, he was wanted for questioning regarding the incident, but he had lost track.

He appeared in the apartment only yesterday, when he was killed in the backyard. It is believed that the informant has been staying day and night near his house for months. That's how it worked, as soon as Beytja appeared.

On January 9, 2022, Gentian Bejtja, a former prison policeman, escaped an assassination attempt with a Kalashnikov, near Nikla in Fushë-Kruje, but his 31-year-old friend, Klodian Stafuka , was injured in the car with him when they stopped. to fuel the car at a gas station.

Bejtja was one of the people who drank coffee with Enver Stafuka, a few minutes before he was kidnapped and disappeared in the middle of Fushë-Kruja, on the night of February 8, 2015.

Known as a former friend of Durim Bami, a person of high social risk, 42-year-old Gentjan Bejtja has been suspected of a series of events not only in the Fushë-Kruja area.

In September 2016, he was assassinated with tritol. Bejtja was traveling in his "Tuareg" type car, in the village of Nikël in Krujë, when the explosive exploded from under the vehicle, severely injuring his leg.

Earlier it was rumored that together with Enver Stafuka they had stolen the car with which the murder of Chief Commissioner Dritan Lamajt was carried out on February 24, 2013. 

But with a court decision, Betja and Stafuka were declared innocent on November 13, 2013, after it was assessed that there was not enough evidence to convict them of the charge of theft in collaboration.

But due to lack of evidence, he was released in the murder of Ilias Çali on the Tirana-Durres highway, in April 2022 and when Markle Haka was shot.
