Ilir Gjini, alias Lika, alias Kokaj, alias Nure, around 40 years old, was killed yesterday evening in the town of Laç. The State Police Services have announced that he died on the way to the hospital, as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Emiljan Suti, also known as Artur Suti, has been declared wanted for the incident as the suspected perpetrator of the murder that shocked the city on Thursday evening.

Sources indicate that a month ago, Ilir Gjini and Emiljan Suti had a trivial conflict in the city center and yesterday evening, they allegedly confronted each other again, before the 40-year-old was shot to death.

Both were residents of the same neighborhood and as soon as Ilir Gjini parked his vehicle and headed for the entrance of the building, he was shot with seven bullets.

The police have escorted the mother and brother of Emiljan alias Artur Suti for questioning, while checks continue for his capture.

Their acquaintances are expected to shed light on the ongoing conflicts that Ilir Gjini and Emiljan Suti have had with each other.

At the scene, the investigation team also found a pistol firearm, which is suspected to have belonged to the victim.

Investigators believe that Ilir Gjini went armed to the door of Emiljan Suti's house, but this remains to be verified by the administration of security cameras and the testimonies of residents.

Meanwhile, the murder of Ilir Gjin is another very difficult news for the family, as a few months ago, this citizen had also lost his wife.

Today, the family opened the doors of the morgue to welcome friends and acquaintances, and to bid the 40-year-old a final farewell.
