A serious event was recorded in the early hours of today in Korça.

A woman was injured after being hit with a machete by a young man in the area known as the market of Korça.

Also, another citizen who was present at the scene and intervened to remove the cold weapon he was holding from the hand of the perpetrator was also slightly injured.

While the cause of this conflict is not yet known, it is learned that the author of the injury has been accompanied to the police where he is being interrogated.

While the injured have been sent to the hospital, their lives are out of danger, meanwhile, from witnesses present, it has been learned that the perpetrator is suspected of being a drug user.

Witnesses from the scene: " I saw the whole incident, that boy came to him and hit him several times, he had a machete in his hand and only hit. They are not busy, it came directly to the woman. He looked drugged ."
