A quantity of explosives was thrown during the night at the bar of citizen Sali Fetiu in the "Çlirim" neighborhood in Berat.
The small amount of explosive material, which was thrown at 04:00 in the morning, caused only minor material damage to the entrance door.
The bar owned by citizen Sali Fetiu has been closed for 2 years and the sign "For rent" can be seen on its windows.
The investigative group is continuing its actions, with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the case and identifying and apprehending the perpetrator(s).
Meanwhile, security cameras from surrounding businesses have also been seized.
It is suspected that the throwing of the explosives was a warning to the son of the bar owner, 37-year-old Asllan Fetiu.
The latter, on March 24, 2024, stabbed an 85-year-old man who was inside the bar in front of him.
37-year-old Asllan Fetiu, while intoxicated, looked for a citizen in the bar and after not finding him, stabbed the 85-year-old customer.
Police sources indicate that the injury from a year ago is not the only track being investigated, but that the track of laundering the accounts of broken deals of illegal businesses abroad is also being investigated.
