The DP MP for the Dibra district, Denisa Vata, has published a video of the damage to the side slope of Arbri Street.
It shows a part of the escarpment in the mountainous part before reaching the Murriz Tunnel, which is cracked in places, becoming a danger for drivers and pedestrians.
Vata writes that the video was made by her on February 10, while emphasizing that the road was built outside standards, without proper study and control.
"Arbri Road should be safe for families who pass by every day. It is an engineering responsibility. It is public money. A escarpment that breaks in this way, we are dealing with a technical and institutional failure."
This means: Either the project was weak.
Or the implementation has been weak.
Or the control was formal.
The Arbri Road was not built in the desert. It was built in the mountain. And the mountain has had water for thousands of years.
If "the mountain drinks water" is enough as an explanation, then why are geotechnical projects paid for? Why are drainage studies done? The problem is not nature but the standard. If you blame the terrain for every failure, then political responsibility has disappeared. National roads are not inauguration scenographies but are security contracts with citizens. The video was made by me on February 10, 2026," writes Vata.
