The former mother-in-law of 33-year-old Blerina Basha , who is accused of mistreating her three minor children, has reacted to 'Albania Live' with Sidorela Gjon.

She told how she found her grandchildren in those poor living conditions, while saying that they were being treated for scabies.

" The scabies come from the slime. I saw that they had wounds, that there was blood on their feet. My heart stopped. Why am I here? If it was to do it on purpose... before, her boyfriend raped our son and I still didn't file a complaint, and it's my mistake and I don't forgive myself for doing that to my children."

"She has been separated from my son for 5 years. My daughter-in-law knows that she has been to Kosovo, I don't know about Dubai. She is live 24 hours a day on Tik Tok," she said.

Asked if her son has given her monthly allowance according to the court's decision for the children, she said: With documents, and her parents know, every time I give her money, she denies it. I have an archive of all the documents that we gave her money every month, I gave it too. Am I obligated to give her money to get her eyelashes done and her hair curled?!

"We didn't know that the children haven't been to school for three months. The video shows that she has always lied. I also spoke to the mother-in-law, and I told her that it is not good for my grandchildren and yours to grow up like this, and she said you are right, and her family members have even said that they will sign a petition in court for us to take the children. We will follow her in court to take custody of the children.

After the video, the bride told me: I will report you and your friends for taking me out with a camera.

"And he threatened my son, asking him why he published the videos. I have booked a ticket to Italy, but I can't leave leaving the children in this condition ," said the children's grandmother.

Regarding some photos that have circulated in the media after the case was made public, the young Blerina Basha has denied that they were taken in Dubai, but according to her, they were edited.

These people are giving so much hatred towards me. My children have stayed in Italy for 2-3 months, because I could not go because of the documents, and I heard, that I have a video, where the children cursed at me and spoke dirty words. Influenced by my ex-husband ," said Blerina Basha.

We recall that the reaction of the police and institutions came after the publication of the news in VoxNews . The children had not been to school for 1 month and had been malnourished for 3 days.

After examinations conducted at the Durrës hospital, where the 3 children are being held with their mother, it has been revealed that they are infected with scabies.

It is learned that the authorities are expected to remove the 33-year-old's custody of minors, but there has been no official statement from Social Services yet.
