The names of the people arrested by order of the Brescia Prosecutor's Office and SPAK, as part of an international operation against drug trafficking, have been revealed.
The investigation, conducted through a Joint Investigation Team with Italian and Swiss authorities, revealed that the network trafficked drugs from South America to Europe, using 6 logistics bases in Italy and "money mules" to transfer the proceeds.
During this cooperation, the activity of a structured criminal group composed mainly of Albanian citizens was discovered, which is suspected of trafficking cocaine from South America to Northern Europe and then to Italy via land routes.
Italian media have also published the names of 24 people for whom arrest warrants were issued by the Brescia Court.

Asti Llupi, Erald Salla and Altin Shehaj are those arrested by the Albanian state police following the prison arrest measure issued by the Court of Brescia.
Italian authorities have seized over 1,300 kg of cocaine, which was stored in six logistical bases set up by the group on Italian territory.

Investigations show that the money gained from drug sales was transported through so-called "money mules" or as we have often encountered in the traffickers' codes, "mushkats", including bus drivers on the Italy-Albania route.
In Italy, 10 people were arrested in flagrante delicto and 550 thousand euros in cash, 10 vehicles, a firearm and 130 kg of drugs, worth around 12 million euros, were seized.

Of the 24 people against whom Italian authorities have imposed security measures, six are in Albania and three of them have been arrested.
