The VIEWS of trucks with contraband goods that tried to pass without control in
Ardit Abria, the customs officer in charge of the shift, is the brother of Admir Abria, the current director of Prisons in Albania

2 customs officials at the Kakavija Customs have been arrested and 4 others have been declared wanted as they are accused of allowing 4 trucks, 1 trailer and a van to pass without being checked in exchange for a bribe. The police also arrested 6 drivers who had smuggled goods in their trucks.

Below you have the images of the trailer, heavy tonnage trucks and other vehicles filled with contraband goods that tried to pass through the Kakavija border point without checking and avoiding customs clearance payments.


By order of the Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office, the customs officer of Kakavija, Ardit Abrija, the brother of the director of Albanian Prisons, Admir Abrija , the physical control customs officer, Eliod Shurdhaj , were arrested and Arben Marvataj (parking customs officer) was declared wanted, as well as 3 employees of Anti-smuggling ( Astrit Xhaxha, Arjan Mustafaj Fatjon Osmani ).

It is learned that AMP had received information and denunciations that customs officers and police officers were involved in corrupt schemes related to irregular customs clearance procedures, benefiting from sums of money.

Several tens of tons of undeclared goods, mobile telephones, monetary values, etc. were seized as material evidence.
