The State Police has taken all measures to maintain security in relation to the protest called by the opposition at 17:00 today around the Assembly.

As can be seen from the images below, a large number of officers have surrounded the building, coming with many vans, while water trucks have also arrived. The operatives are also equipped with gas masks.


About 1,100 police officers will be ready for the opposition protest today in front of the Parliament. The entire perimeter of the building of plenary sessions will be surrounded by blue uniforms, while security measures have been increased in the entire area.

The forces of order and the "Eagle" unit will be on the front line, while those of the Rapid Intervention and RENEA will be deployed on the side of the parliament.

Numerous police forces as well as members of the Guard will be deployed in the side part from the side of "Pedonales" from where the entrance of the deputies is expected to take place.

Also, the police have taken measures to block the roads, where from 15:00 traffic has been restricted on "Georxh Bush" street and partially on "Zhan Dark" boulevard and the intersection of Elbasan street.
