The mother of 22-year-old Joy Ayoko spoke exclusively to VoxNews , as she confirmed the news about the death of her daughter, who was brutally raped in Tirana in August and ended up in a coma.

Ruth Abongo told VoxNews that Joy died because she got an infection and was on oxygen. She said that she will seek justice for her daughter who was raped in the apartment where she lived in Tirana.

We recall that on August 13 of last year, 22-year-old Joy was raped and thrown from the second floor of the apartment she lived in for rent on "Pandeli Evangjeli" street in the capital .

Although the event happened on August 13, the first notification by the Tirana police was made only after 3 months, on November 9.
