Most wanted Italian justice official arrested in Durrës (NAME+VIDEO)

The 50-year-old Albanian identified as Gentian Lika, born in Kavaja, who had been declared internationally wanted by the Italian authorities, has been arrested by the Operacinalja and the Durrës Blues.

The Blues report that Lika has been sentenced by the justice system of a neighboring state to 6 years in prison after being accused of drug trafficking.

It is said that the arrest of the Albanian was finalized thanks to the cooperation between the Special Operations Force and the Durrës police.


It is reported that procedures have been initiated to finalize his extradition to Italy.

A citizen declared internationally wanted by Italian authorities, sentenced to 6 years in prison for drug trafficking, is arrested in Durrës and detained for extradition purposes.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Appeal of Rome, Italy, by a decision of March 2025, sentenced him to 6 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking", committed in collaboration, according to the provisions of the Italian Criminal Code", the police announced.
