Vlora police have arrested the perpetrator of the theft of a significant sum of money from the car of two Italian tourists yesterday near "Cold Water".
It is understood that 35-year-old Ervis Myrtaj was arrested by authorities after the latter were placed in pursuit of him.
Myrtaj was spotted being chased by authorities by car, so he tried to flee, but after the pursuit by police forces he was arrested.
The 35-year-old was released from prison just 10 days ago after benefiting from a criminal amnesty.
He is suspected of stealing personal belongings of a pair of Italian weighers, as well as a value of 2,500 euros that were in their parked car in Lungomare.
