Astrit Lamaj , 53 years old, lost his life when he accidentally left the road on a motorcycle about 1 kilometer above the roundabout in the village of Fushë-Vërri .

He was part of a group of motorcyclists who had organized a private trip along the Riviera.

The police are investigating the causes of the accident while the group of his friends who were part of the trip are also being questioned about the circumstances.

" Today around 11:30, on the road axis "Skërfice-Fushë Vërri", during the movement of a group of motorcyclists, one of the motorcycles driven by the citizen AL, 53 years old, resident of Durrës, collided with the protective barriers of the road and out of the way.

As a result, the driver of the motorcycle, a citizen of AL, died. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident, where it is initially suspected that the 53-year-old lost control over the driving of the motorcycle , the police announced.
