The Kurum company has reacted after the news confirmed by the Ministry of Environment for "Report TV" that about 800 tons of waste that have been sent from the Port of Durrës to Thailand belong to this company.

In a statement to the media, Kurum says that in no case has it transported hazardous waste and that this shipment was not launched by the Kurum company either.

The company says it "respects all national and international rules and laws, including the Basel Convention, for the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste generated during the production process."
