The Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Christiane Hohmann, today held a meeting with the new head of SPAK, Altin Duman. The news was announced by the head of the European diplomacy in Tirana, where she revealed the details of the talks. 

The focus of their conversation was the fight against corruption and organized crime that affect the advancement of the EU membership process.

"Good conversation with the new Chief Prosecutor of SPAK, Altin Dumani. The EU fully supports an independent and effective SPAK. The fight against high-level corruption and organized crime remains a key issue for Albania's advancement on its path to EU membership," said the EU ambassador to Albania, Christiane Hohmann.
