AKU blocks over 500 kg of unsafe meat in a 'Fast Food' in Tirana,

The National Food Authority has blocked over 500 kg of meat from a Fast Food in Tirana, as it was unsuitable for consumption, and fined the entity 500,000 Lek. 

In the official announcement with photos, AKU says: "566 kg of giro product blocked. Fast-food with inappropriate hygienic and sanitary conditions.

The National Food Authority continues to carry out checks in order to guarantee the health of consumers on the eve of the New Year holidays.

From the control carried out in the subject "V. Gj.", with the fast food activity, Tirana, it was found that the gjiro product was processed in inappropriate hygienic and sanitary conditions.

As a result, this environment was blocked by the inspection team, an administrative measure of "fine" worth 500,000 lek was imposed on the subject, and the amount of 566 kg of ghee product was blocked, for which samples were taken to be analyzed. for microbiological indicators."
