Accident in Gramsh, police provide details

New details have emerged regarding the serious accident that occurred this Monday on the Kabash-Porocan axis in Gramsh, near the village of Bardhaj. The police have confirmed through an official announcement that one person has lost their life in this accident.

The victim was 43-year-old Dëshira Hoxha. It is reported that she was a nurse. Teacher Albana Boja was seriously injured and was transported in critical condition to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

The driver of the pickup truck is in serious condition and has been sent for medical treatment to Gramsh hospital.

"Gramsh/Preliminary information. On the "Gramsh-Porocan" road, the truck driven by citizen Sh. K., 38 years old, has left the road. As a result of the accident, the truck driver, citizen Sh. K., and citizen AB, a passenger, were injured and transported to the hospital for medical assistance, while citizen DH, 43 years old, a passenger in the truck, lost her life.

"The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident," the police announced.
